Arpeggio by Nespresso
Arpeggio by Nespresso is a well-done intense espresso with a lot of character. Its aroma successfully balances dark-roast bitterness, fruity acidity and caramel sweetness. The taste is dominated by bitterness mellowed by and sour cherries, passion fruit and creamy sweetness.
Aroma
Arpeggio has an intense and balanced aroma that is pleasant yet heavier. Its robust roasting is coming through with the bitter tones that are mellowed by the acidity of sour cherries and the sweetness of caramel. Notes of dark chocolate, almonds and tropical spices further enrich this characterful espresso.
Taste
The taste of Arpeggio is also intensely pleasant, showcasing the dark roasting from the first sip. The tall crema is responsible for the initial creamy mouthfeel followed by the acidity of sour cherries and passion fruit. This acidity later changes into a short-lived almond sweetness. At the end comes intense herbal bitterness which continues into the aftertaste.
Extraction
The extraction is flawless and produces beautifully rich crema.
