The Espresso (new) by Roastworks Coffee Co.
The Espresso by Roastworks Coffee Co. is great coffee with a mellow aroma that combines cereals and milk chocolate with fruity cherries and cocoa. The taste successfully brings together the fresh acidity of sweet limes and green apples with the sweetness of milk chocolate and the mild bitterness of cocoa and apricot kernels.
Aroma
The Espresso has a mellow, mildly intense aroma which brings together the sweetness of cereals and creamy milk chocolate with the fruitiness of cherries and the touch of cocoa.
Taste
The taste is intense, well-balanced and smooth. The pleasantly fresh acidity of sweet limes and green apples goes well with the soft sweetness of milk chocolate and crème caramel and the mild bitterness of cocoa and apricot kernels.
Extraction
The extraction is very slow but has a steady flow and produces nice crema.

Notes
This is the second edition of The Espresso by Roastworks Coffee Co. we reviewed. The first edition proved to be an excellent modern espresso and its second edition continues in this legacy.
In the new, fully-aluminium capsules from Roastworks Coffee Co. is a blend of Arabica beans from Brazilian Monte Cristo, Ethiopian Gera Farm (both naturally processed) and Guatemalan Pico Mayor (washed) – all mixed and roasted to perfection.
The qualities of The Espresso by Roastworks Coffee Co. are on a par with its sibling edition Kenya and such great coffee as Honduras by Jones Brothers, Colombia by Nespresso, Las Laderas by Colonna or Butter Pecan Cookies Snack by Yardstick Coffee.
